VisitCalifornia High School in East Bay Locked Down After Bomb Threat

California High School in San Ramon, East Bay, was placed on lockdown Thursday morning following a bomb threat phone call to staff, according to police. The campus was secured, and police set up a perimeter while searching the school with explosive detection K9s. As of 12:38 p.m., the lockdown was lifted after the campus was thoroughly searched and cleared. Police will remain on campus for the rest of the school day out of an abundance of caution. An investigation into the threat is ongoing.
