Nov 18, 2024, 04:02 AM
Chinese carmaker BYD has achieved a significant milestone by producing its 10 millionth new energy vehicle (NEV). The landmark vehicle, a Denza Z9 Sedan, rolled off the production line at BYD's Shenshan plant in Guangdong Province on Monday. The vehicle was delivered to Feng Ji, the founder of Game Science and creator of the popular game Black Myth Wukong. BYD, founded in February 1995, has grown from a workforce of 20 employees to over 900,000, becoming one of China's largest automakers. This milestone highlights BYD's rapid growth and its dominant position in the Chinese electric vehicle market, as it celebrates its 30th anniversary. The achievement underscores the company's commitment to innovation and sustainability in the automotive industry. BYD is the first car manufacturer globally to reach this goal.
