Bubba Wallace has secured the pole position for the Cook Out Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway, marking his first Busch Light Pole of the season and the third of his career. This achievement comes at a crucial time as Wallace is vying for a spot in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs. He currently needs to either win the race or make up a 21-point deficit on Chris Buescher to qualify. Carson Hocevar will start alongside Wallace in second place, followed by Chase Briscoe and Kyle Larson. The race is scheduled for Sunday night and will be broadcast on USA Network.
