Bomb Blast in Swat Targets Diplomatic Convoy, Killing One Police Officer, Injuring Four

A bomb blast targeted a security convoy escorting foreign diplomats in the Swat district of northwest Pakistan. The explosion, which occurred on Malam Jabba Road near Jehanabad, resulted in the death of one police officer and injuries to four others. The diplomats, who were from countries including Bosnia, Russia, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and Portugal, were unharmed. The attack, which remains unclaimed, caused significant damage to the police vehicle. The convoy was en route to the Malam Jabba tourist destination. According to the DIG, all the diplomats are completely safe.
