Bolivia has officially lifted its ban on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, allowing financial entities to use digital assets for crypto payments. The prohibition, which was implemented in December 2020, has been revoked by the Central Bank of Bolivia. While cryptocurrencies are now legal for financial transactions, they are not considered legal tender, meaning businesses are not required to accept them.
