Bolivia Discovers 1.7 TCF Natural Gas Reserve, Biggest Since 2005

Bolivian President Luis Arce announced on Monday the discovery of a 1.7 trillion cubic feet natural gas reserve in the north of the department of La Paz, near the country's administrative capital. This natural gas 'mega field' is the biggest discovery since 2005 and promises to be a significant boon for the country. President Arce stated, 'This marks the beginning of a new chapter for the northern sub-Andean region, offering hope of maintaining our country as an important gas exporter.'
