Boeing's 33,000 unionized machinists are voting today on a new contract offer that could end their seven-week strike, which has halted production of most Boeing passenger planes and exacerbated the company's financial struggles. Represented by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, the workers are considering the company's third proposal, which includes a 38% pay raise over four years, a $12,000 signing bonus, and a 100% 401(k) match of the first 8%.
