Oct 19, 2024, 02:44 PM
Boeing Co. and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, representing 33,000 striking machinists, have reached a tentative wage agreement that could end a more than month-long strike that has halted most of the company's production. The new proposal includes several key improvements over previous offers, including a 35% wage increase, up from 25% previously offered. The union will present the proposal to its members, who will vote on Wednesday on whether to accept the deal and end the work stoppage.
