VisitBoeing Delivers Nine 737 Max Jets to China, Highest Since 2018
Sep 4, 2024, 04:14 AM
Boeing has delivered its highest number of 737 Max jets to China in almost six years, with nine jets delivered in August 2024. This marks significant progress under the leadership of new CEO Kelly Ortberg. The company still holds about 64 Max 8 models in inventory for Chinese airlines, while the Max 10 and Max 7 await certification. Ortberg recently met with FAA chief Mike Whitaker to discuss Boeing's safety and quality plans amid increased regulatory scrutiny. This is the highest delivery rate since 2018.
