Blinken: Hezbollah Likely Behind Sunday's Golan Heights Rocket Attack Killing 12

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated on Sunday that there is 'every indication' that Hezbollah was responsible for a rocket attack in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, which killed 12 children and teenagers. The rocket struck a youth soccer match in the town of Majdal Shams in Northeastern Israel. Blinken emphasized that the US does not want to see an escalation of conflict and suggested that a ceasefire could bring lasting calm to the 'blue line' area between Israel and Lebanon. Hezbollah has denied any involvement in the attack. The rocket was launched from Southern Lebanon.
