VisitbitFlyer Holdings, Inc. Completes 100% Acquisition of FTX Japan, Plans Crypto Custody and ETFs

Japanese crypto giant bitFlyer has completed its acquisition of FTX Japan, making it a fully owned subsidiary. The Tokyo-based company announced that it has secured 100% of all outstanding shares of FTX Japan. Following the acquisition, bitFlyer Holdings, Inc. plans to develop a new cryptocurrency custody business and provide services related to crypto asset spot ETFs. This move could pave the way for the launch of the first spot crypto ETF in Japan.
