VisitBihar EOU Reports NEET-UG Paper Leak of 68 Questions to Centre; CBI Takes Over
Jun 24, 2024, 08:06 AM
The Bihar government's Economic Offences Unit (EOU) has reported to the Centre that its investigation suggests a paper leak in the NEET-UG examination. The probe, led by Additional Director General of Police N H Khan, found that 68 questions from the NEET-UG exam paper matched burnt remnants of a photocopy, indicating tampering at an exam centre in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. The EOU has obtained reference question papers to compare with the seized documents. The investigation has now been handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The report was submitted to the Centre on June 22, and the 68 questions were part of an estimated 200 questions in the exam, according to the National Testing Agency (NTA).
