VisitBiden Votes Early in Delaware as Over 44 Million Americans Cast Ballots
Oct 28, 2024, 05:09 PM
President Joe Biden cast his early vote in the 2024 US Presidential Election on Monday in Wilmington, Delaware. He waited in line for about 40 minutes at the Delaware Department of Elections, near his home, presented his driver's license, and even helped push an elderly woman in a wheelchair ahead of him. Early voting numbers have surged, with over 44 million Americans having already voted, including over 19 million in-person votes and 21 million mail-in ballots. Early voters include 42% of registered Democrats, 40% of registered Republicans, and 18% of independents and others. Republicans have cast more early ballots than Democrats in three key swing states, and the race remains tight in seven battleground states.
