Jan 18, 2025, 08:20 AM
Baykar's Bayraktar TB3, a drone capable of taking off and landing on short-runway ships, has successfully completed its first live-fire test on January 17, 2025. The test, conducted at the Baykar Flight Training and Test Center in Keşan, Edirne, involved the drone firing two ROKETSAN MAM-T munitions, hitting the target with precision. The Bayraktar TB3, equipped with ASELSAN's ASELFLIR-500 targeting system, achieved this milestone. This event marks a significant step in the development of the TB3, which previously made history by being the first UAV to take off and land from the TCG Anadolu ship without any landing support equipment.
