Manchester United, the FA Cup holders, defeated Arsenal 5-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw at the Emirates Stadium. Despite playing with ten men for 60 minutes following Diogo Dalot's red card, they held on through extra time. Under manager Ruben Amorim, Manchester United advanced to the next round. Goalkeeper Altay Bayındır was instrumental, saving a penalty from Martin Odegaard during the match and another from Kai Havertz in the penalty shootout.
