Bangladesh's interim government, led by the Yunus administration, has reversed its decision to ban the export of hilsa fish to India. The approval has been given to export 3,000 tonnes of hilsa fish ahead of Durga Puja, a significant festival for Hindu Bengalis. This decision is seen as a diplomatic victory for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Previously, the Bangladeshi government had announced that hilsa fish would not be allowed to be exported to India.
