Austrian authorities have arrested two individuals in connection with a suspected terrorist plot in Vienna. The main suspect, a 19-year-old with North Macedonian roots, allegedly worked with a 17-year-old Austrian. Austrian officials have stated that one of the suspects had sworn allegiance to the Islamic State. The Austrian Interior Minister noted that international contacts and intelligence were crucial in the investigation, as local laws restrict surveillance of messenger apps. Additionally, a 15-year-old Austrian national has been identified and questioned in relation to the plot.
