A 34-year-old Australian social media influencer from Queensland has been charged with poisoning her one-year-old daughter in an attempt to gain online followers and collect donations. The woman allegedly administered several unauthorized prescription medications to her child, causing the infant to experience severe emotional and physical distress, which she then filmed and posted online. The case came to light in October when the baby was hospitalized for a serious medical episode, prompting doctors to alert the authorities. The influencer, who had raised A$60,000 through a GoFundMe campaign, faces charges including administering poison with intent to harm, making child exploitation material, fraud, and preparation to commit crimes involving dangerous things. She is scheduled to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court.
