VisitAustralia Delivers JDAM-ER Glide Bombs to Ukraine Amid Ongoing Military Support
Nov 2, 2024, 03:11 PM
Australia has delivered a batch of JDAM-ER glide bombs to Ukraine. These bombs, which were phased out by the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) in 2021 along with the retirement of the F/A-18A/B Hornet, are now being utilized by the Ukrainian Air Force. The JDAM-ER, capable of hitting targets up to 72.4 km away with a circular error probable, was first used in Ukraine by a MiG-29 in March 2023. This transfer, reported by Australian Defence, is part of Australia's continued military support to Ukraine amid ongoing conflict with Russia.
