Attempt to Derail Kalindi Express on Anwarganj-Kasganj Track in Kanpur

An attempt to derail the Kalindi Express was made by placing an LPG cylinder on the tracks in Kanpur. The incident occurred late Sunday night on the Anwarganj-Kasganj railway track when the train was heading towards Bhiwani from Prayagraj. The train collided with the cylinder, causing an explosion, but the loco pilot managed to stop the train in time, averting a major disaster. Railway officials and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) are investigating the incident. The police have confirmed the attempt to derail the train and are looking into the motives behind the act.
