Atlantic City Mayor, Wife Charged with Endangering Welfare of Teen Daughter

Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small, Sr., 50, and his wife, La'Quetta Small, 47, who is also the superintendent of the city's school district, have been charged with second-degree endangering the welfare of a child. The charges, announced by the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, allege that between December 2023 and January 2024, the couple physically and emotionally abused their teenage daughter, who is 15 or 16 years old. The incidents reportedly occurred on multiple occasions.
