VisitAstros' Minute Maid Park to Become Daikin Park January 1, 2025, in Deal with Japanese Firm
Nov 18, 2024, 03:54 PM
The Houston Astros announced that Minute Maid Park, affectionately known as 'The Juice Box,' will be renamed Daikin Park beginning on January 1, 2025, following a 15-year exclusive naming rights agreement with Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, Inc. Daikin, a Japanese air conditioning manufacturer, will be the exclusive naming-rights partner for the Astros' stadium through 2039. This partnership marks the end of the stadium's 22-year association with Minute Maid, with the ballpark known as Minute Maid Park since summer 2002. Daikin develops, manufactures, sells, and supports heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) equipment. The announcement was made at an event on Monday morning at the stadium.
