On November 18, 2024, the Houston Astros announced a 15-year exclusive naming-rights agreement with Daikin Comfort Technologies, resulting in the renaming of their home stadium to Daikin Park starting January 2025. The official announcement was made during a significant business event at Minute Maid Park. Daikin, a Japanese manufacturer specializing in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) equipment, will replace Minute Maid as the stadium's title sponsor after a 22-year partnership that began in 2002. The deal signifies a new chapter for the Astros' ballpark, which has been the team's home since 2002 and is commonly known as 'The Juice Box,' as it adopts the name of the world's leading air conditioning company.
