Armenian authorities have reported the prevention of a coup attempt aimed at violently seizing power. The National Security Service of Armenia announced on Sept. 18 that the plot involved seven individuals, including Armenian citizens and former residents of Nagorno-Karabakh. These individuals allegedly underwent military training in Russia. Three suspects have been arrested, while four others remain wanted. The Investigative Committee of Armenia stated that the conspirators traveled to Rostov-on-Don for their training. The plot was reportedly well-funded, with each participant receiving 220,000 RUB per month. The coup was allegedly aimed at the Pashinyan government.
