Arbitrum is set to enhance its capabilities with the introduction of Stylus, an advanced wasm VM that can compute up to 100x more than Solidity. The MultiVM via Stylus opens up a new developer landscape on Arbitrum by allowing developers to code in their preferred languages such as Rust, and enabling DeFi builders to use ZK proofs for privacy. This development will also allow gamers to fit in more onchain actions for less gas. Additionally, the new ZK possibilities via the Stylus MultiVM will soon enable Privacy-DeFi apps and ZK identity verification on Arbitrum. Building on the MultiVM with Stylus offers 10x cheaper computation and memory while maintaining full EVM interoperability.
