Aptos Sets New L1 Record with 115.4M Daily Transactions on May 25, Surpassing Sui Network and Solana

Aptos has set a new record in the Layer 1 (L1) blockchain industry by achieving 115.4 million daily transactions on May 25, surpassing the previous record of 65 million set by Sui Network. This milestone also eclipses Solana's 31.7 million daily transactions. The surge in activity is primarily driven by the tap-to-earn game Taposcat, which alone contributed significantly to the transaction volume. On May 24, Aptos also recorded 97.488 million daily transactions, breaking its own record and reaching a user transaction per second (TPS) rate of 27,000. On the same day, 16.4 million transactions were recorded, with 10 million driven by Taposcat. Users can fund their Tapos Wallet with $APT and earn $HEART by participating in the game. This marks a significant achievement for Aptos in the highly competitive L1 blockchain space.
