Recent cybersecurity research has unveiled a significant supply chain attack linked to the Polyfill framework, targeting approximately 100,000 websites. This attack aims to redirect users to a vast network of counterfeit Chinese gambling sites. The company allegedly responsible for this breach, FUNNULL, has not responded to inquiries regarding the attack. Additionally, Chinese nation-state hackers, identified as APT41, have been implicated in targeting the gambling sector for financial gain. These developments highlight ongoing concerns about cybersecurity vulnerabilities and the exploitation of online gambling platforms.
