Apple has officially unveiled the iPhone 16 series at its 'Glowtime' event, featuring significant advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. The new iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are powered by the A18 chip, which boasts 30% faster performance than the iPhone 15's CPU and 40% faster GPU performance. The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models include the A18 Pro chip, offering even greater efficiency and speed, with a 6-core GPU that is 20% faster, a 16-core Neural Engine, and 17% more memory bandwidth, along with 2x faster ray tracing. The devices are designed from the ground up to integrate 'Apple Intelligence,' a suite of on-device AI features aimed at enhancing user experience. New features include customizable Action Buttons, a dedicated Camera Control button, and improved thermal performance. The iPhone 16 series also introduces new colors such as Ultra Marine, Teal, and Pink.
