Apple Leads Global PC Market with 21% Shipment Growth in Q2, Total Shipments Reach 64.9 Million Units

Apple reported a 21% gain in personal computer shipments in the second quarter, marking the biggest jump among global PC makers as part of a budding industry recovery. According to IDC, worldwide shipments of personal computers increased by 3% year-over-year in Q2 2024, reaching a total of 64.9 million units. Apple led the market with a significant growth rate of 20.8% in Q2 2023, outpacing other major companies such as IBM, Dell, HP, and Microsoft.
