Apple Inc. has announced that it is offering Klarna's flexible payment options for users in the U.S. and U.K. through Apple Pay on iPhone and iPad starting on Thursday. This new feature allows eligible users to access Klarna's payment options at checkout both online and in-app. Additionally, Apple Pay users can now access the service on third-party web browsers and computers. This move is part of Apple's broader strategy to expand its payment options with the release of iOS 18, which also includes installment loans through Affirm in the U.S. and Monzo Flex in the U.K. Furthermore, Apple Pay will now display PayPal balances, enhancing its utility for users. The announcement coincides with the 10-year anniversary of Apple Pay, marking a decade of significant advancements in mobile wallet technology.
