VisitAnimal Rights Extremist Daniel Andreas San Diego, Wanted for 2003 Bay Area Bombings, Arrested in Wales After 20 Years
Nov 26, 2024, 08:06 PM
Daniel Andreas San Diego, an animal rights extremist wanted by the FBI for over 20 years, has been arrested in North Wales. San Diego, a vegan and former network specialist, was being sought in connection with two pipe bombings in the San Francisco area in 2003, targeting biotech and nutritional products companies in Emeryville and Pleasanton. He was the first domestic terrorism suspect added to the FBI's Most Wanted Terrorists list. San Diego was apprehended by North Wales Police and the UK's Counter Terrorism Police, and has appeared in a London courtroom. FBI Director Christopher Wray stated that San Diego's arrest shows the Bureau's commitment to justice and emphasized that "violence is never the right way to express views."
