VisitAndrew Luck Named Stanford Football's First General Manager, Will Oversee All Aspects of Program

Andrew Luck, the former star quarterback for Stanford University and the NFL's Indianapolis Colts, is returning to his alma mater as the football program's general manager, a newly created position. Announced on Saturday by Athletic Director Bernard Muir, Luck will oversee all aspects of the football program, including staff management, recruiting, roster management, and athlete experience, and will collaborate with head coach Troy Taylor on various initiatives. He will also work with administration on fundraising and other efforts to revitalize the struggling program he once helped elevate to national prominence. Luck will begin his duties immediately and discussed his new role on ESPN's College GameDay around 10:30 am EST.
