Anaheim City Council Unanimously Approves $1.9B Disneyland Expansion in 7-0 Vote

The Anaheim City Council has approved the DisneylandForward proposal, a $1.9 billion, multidecade expansion plan for Disneyland. The project, which includes the development of new theme park areas, hotels, and entertainment facilities, was unanimously passed in a 7-0 vote early Wednesday after an 8-hour meeting. A final vote is scheduled for May 7. If fully approved, this expansion will significantly alter the current layout of the park, introducing new adventure areas and attractions.
