America PAC's get-out-the-vote (GOTV) effort has come under scrutiny after it was revealed that Black canvassers were flown to Michigan and transported in the back of a U-Haul truck without seats or seatbelts, separated from their driver by a metal cage. These canvassers were threatened with having to pay their own hotel bills unless they met unrealistic door-knocking quotas. The operation, linked to Elon Musk and aimed at supporting Donald Trump's campaign, has raised significant ethical and legal concerns.
