VisitAmazon Invests $19.5M in KSC for Project Kuiper, Launch by Year's End

Amazon is set to expand its Project Kuiper satellite processing facilities at NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) with a nearly $20 million investment. The expansion will add 42,000 square feet of satellite processing and storage facility space, bringing Amazon's total investment at KSC to $140 million. This move is part of Amazon's efforts to accelerate the deployment of its Project Kuiper constellation, which will consist of more than 3,200 satellites. The company aims to launch its first broadband satellites during the fourth quarter of this year aboard a ULA Atlas V rocket.
