VisitAmazon CEO Andy Jassy Orders Full Return to Office Five Days a Week Starting January 2025
Sep 16, 2024, 05:41 PM
Amazon has announced a new policy requiring all corporate employees to return to the office five days a week starting January 2, 2025. The decision was communicated by CEO Andy Jassy in a memo on Monday, where he noted that the current remote work arrangement of two days a week is not effective for the company's operations. Jassy also mentioned that Amazon will be reducing management layers to streamline teams and reinforce company culture. The policy will also bring back assigned desk arrangements in locations that previously had them, including U.S. headquarters. This news was reported by Reuters and CNBC.
