Allen Greene Named New Athletic Director at University of Pittsburgh, Starting November 1

The University of Pittsburgh has officially named Allen Greene as its new athletic director. Greene, who previously served as the athletic director at Auburn and Buffalo, brings extensive experience to the role. He has also held senior positions at Ole Miss and Tennessee as Senior Deputy AD/COO, where he was involved in NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) program management and revenue generation. Greene, a former Notre Dame baseball player and New York Yankees draft pick, is expected to start his new role on November 1. He replaces Heather Lyke and is widely regarded as one of college athletics' most accomplished administrators.
