Authorities are searching for a Russian serviceman, Alexei Zhuravlev, who is armed with a Kalashnikov and 70 rounds of ammunition. Zhuravlev, 28, shot two fellow soldiers, killing them, and injured another before fleeing. Zhuravlev, who intended to desert, has a criminal past involving robbery and is from Chuvashia.
