An Alaska man, Panos Anastasiou, has been indicted on federal charges for sending over 465 threatening messages to six U.S. Supreme Court justices and their families. The Department of Justice announced that Anastasiou's messages included violent, racist, and homophobic rhetoric, with threats of assassination by torture, hanging, and firearms. The six justices targeted are all conservative members of the court. Anastasiou, 76, was arrested on Wednesday and faces up to 10 years in jail if convicted. He is also noted to have made multiple donations to the Democratic fundraising platform ActBlue.
