AIMPLB to Challenge Supreme Court's Alimony Ruling for Muslim Women Today

The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has decided to challenge the Supreme Court's recent ruling that grants alimony to Muslim women. The board argues that the judgment is against Sharia law and has discussed various legal options in a meeting held in Delhi. AIMPLB has authorized its President to initiate all possible measures, including legal, constitutional, and democratic actions, to overturn the Supreme Court's decision. The board plans to move the Supreme Court today. Additionally, the board has urged Waqf Boards to provide support to divorced Muslim women.
