Bharat Chhabra, 34, has been arrested by the Ahmedabad Crime Branch for deceiving and scamming people by posing as a higher official of a central agency. Three offences were registered against him in the first week of August. Chhabra, who hails from Karnal, Haryana, was caught after a months-long search. A local court has granted a 10-day remand for further investigation. DCP Bharat Patel confirmed the details of the arrest.
