Abraham Hamadeh has won the Republican primary for Arizona's 8th Congressional District, according to multiple sources including Decision Desk HQ and the Associated Press. Hamadeh secured 29.8% of the vote with 86% of precincts reporting, defeating Blake Masters, who garnered 25.3%. Other candidates in the race included Ben Toma and Trent Franks. The victory was officially called at 8:03 p.m. ET on July 31. Hamadeh, a former Arizona attorney general candidate, will now advance to the general election.
