Abdul 'Duke' Fakir, the last surviving original member of the iconic Motown group the Four Tops, has died at the age of 88. Fakir, who was known for his contributions to the group's timeless hits such as 'Reach Out, I'll Be There,' 'Standing in the Shadows of Love,' and 'I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch),' passed away on Monday in Detroit due to heart failure. Fakir's death marks the end of an era for the Four Tops, who were among Motown's most popular acts with numerous top 20 hits between 1964 and 1967. Fakir's passing comes just two days after his retirement.
