The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of kidnapping its councillor, Ram Chander, from his home in Delhi. According to Ram Chander, he was forcibly taken to a BJP office by 5-6 individuals and threatened with investigations by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). AAP senior leader and former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and AAP MLA Kuldeep Kumar have also highlighted these allegations. The BJP has denied these allegations, with Delhi BJP President Virender Sachdeva questioning the credibility of the claims. Meanwhile, AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan has reported that ED officials arrived at his residence with a search warrant, allegedly to arrest him. Khan claims that this is part of ongoing harassment by authorities over the past two years.
