Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin, the 94-year-old second person to walk on the moon and a Brigadier General in the United States Air Force, has formally endorsed former President Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election. In his endorsement, Aldrin praised Trump's leadership qualities and commitment to space exploration, highlighting the establishment of the U.S. Space Force during Trump's previous term in office. "I believe we are best served by voting for Donald Trump. I wholeheartedly endorse him for President of the United States," Aldrin said. He emphasized that "America is facing serious and difficult challenges both at home and abroad," and stressed the need for a proven, serious, and tested leader. Aldrin added, "Godspeed President Trump, and God Bless the United States of America."
