Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid has been diagnosed with a mild case of Bell's palsy, a form of facial paralysis affecting the left side of his face. Embiid has been dealing with the condition since before the NBA Play-In Tournament game against the Miami Heat on April 17, initially starting with migraines. Despite the diagnosis, Embiid has continued to perform at a high level, scoring 50 points in a recent Game 3 victory over the New York Knicks. Embiid expressed that the condition has been 'pretty annoying' but remains determined to keep pushing through the playoffs.
