Visit72-Year-Old Jeweler Hussein Murray Murdered by Fake Utility Workers; Second Suspect Arrested
Oct 14, 2024, 10:38 AM
Authorities in Michigan are investigating the murder of 72-year-old jewelry store owner, Hussein Murray, who was killed in his Rochester Hills home on Friday shortly before noon. Two suspects posing as DTE Energy utility workers gained entry to his upscale neighborhood residence by claiming, 'We're checking for gas leaks'. Once inside, they duct-taped his wife and fatally attacked Murray in the basement. The suspects, described as a heavy-set Hispanic man and a thin Black man wearing high-visibility vests, searched the home for about 20 minutes before fleeing. Doorbell video captured images of the men, aiding the investigation. One suspect, a 37-year-old man, has been arrested and charged with murder, and a second suspect has also been apprehended.
