Visit70 Gaza Children Killed in Five Days, 28 Dead and 89 Injured in Latest Strikes
Jan 12, 2025, 11:02 AM
At least 70 Palestinian children have been killed in Israeli airstrikes across Gaza over the past five days, according to Gaza's Civil Defense. This comes amid an ongoing Israeli military operation in northern Gaza, which has lasted 100 days and resulted in over 5,000 Palestinians killed or missing, as reported by local authorities. In the last 24 hours alone, 28 Palestinians were killed, 89 injured, and two massacres targeting families were reported. The overall death toll in Gaza since October 2023 has surpassed 46,500, with more than 109,600 injured. The conflict has drawn international condemnation, with allegations of war crimes and genocide against Israel. The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants in November 2024 for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for crimes against humanity in Gaza.
