A 59-year-old man was trapped inside a hospital elevator at the Government Medical College in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, for two days. The incident occurred when the man went to the hospital for a routine check-up. He was rescued on Monday morning after the lift was operated for routine work, police said. Hospital staff were unaware of the patient's predicament until his rescue.
