A recent survey conducted by the Kyiv-based New Europe Centre reveals that 44.6% of Ukrainians express trust in U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, marking a significant increase from just 10% last year. This level of support is the highest recorded in Europe, surpassing trust levels in countries such as France, where only 16% of respondents trust Trump, and the UK, where the figure stands at 30%. The survey indicates that Ukrainians' trust in Trump is approximately 10 points lower than that for incumbent President Joe Biden, reflecting a growing frustration with the Biden administration's policies. The findings suggest a notable shift in public sentiment towards Trump among the Ukrainian populace, highlighting a potential divergence in political perspectives within Europe.
